Worked example: We the Travellers—II

Maths Mela, Chapter 4. A family travels 348 km by train and then 276 km by bus. How far do they travel in all, and how much longer is the train part?

Total: 348 + 276 = 624 km.
Difference: 348 − 276 = 72 km.
